The Inn on Thistle Hill is nestled against the hillside of its ten acres of both wooded and open land in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. At The Inn on Thistle Hill and Wellness Coaching Center, they offer a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Also available are various spa and wellness therapies and coaching to help make guests stay even more special. The broad range of mini-classes and mini-seminars helps guests to relax and they may learn about meditation, stress management and prosperity consciousness. The inn also offers some wonderfully romantic get away packages which include a complete candle-lit dinner. Just driving down the well-kept country roads, seeing the fields and mountains, is a get away in itself. The inn will even pack guests a picnic lunch, by request, and give them a map of the lovely back route to enjoy.<br><br>
All of the cottages and rooms have ceiling fans, individually controlled heat/air, private bathrooms, and antique furniture. Ideal for Romantic getaways, anniversaries and honeymoons, high-count cotton sheets and fluffy Egyptian cotton towels are just some of the luxuries provided. Guests are bound to fall in love with every single room at the inn.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for Friday and Saturday arrivals between 10/1/05-10/31/05 and 5/1/06-5/31/06. | Area Attractions
The Inn on Thistle Hill B&B, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, has many attractions nearby. Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, hiking on Old Rag Mountain, canoeing on the Shenandoah River, Luray Caverns, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello in Charlottesville, and James Madison's Montpelier near Orange, VA, in Montpelier Station. The inn is only 20 minutes away from Commonwealth Park in Culpeper where visitors can attend the horse shows. Antiquing in nearby Culpeper, Sperryville, and Charlottesville, antique auctions, winery tours, and wine festivals are only some of the fun things that can be done. There are also excellent restaurants and five star dining, fly-fishing, kayaking, and tube rentals to take part in. |

| Driving Directions
5541 Sperryville Pike, Boston, VA - From Dulles Airport: Coming from the Beltway, Take I-66 West (toward Front Royal). Take the Gainesville Exit (Hwy 29) towards Warrenton. Important: To miss a lot of traffic lights and traffic, pass the Gainesville Exit and take the next exit which is Hwy 15. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on to Hwy 15. Where it connects to Hwy 29, turn right. Continue on Hwy 29, pass Warrenton (stay in the left 2 lanes of Hwy 29, under the sign for "Culpeper,") and continue on Hwy 29. Take the first exit for Culpeper (about 35 miles from I-66), turn right at the end of the ramp and proceed along toward Old Town of Culpeper until Hwy 522 North (Evans St. in Culpeper), turn right. Go approximately 9.5 miles. There'll be a sign for Rappahannock County Line. Cross the Rappahannock County Line, the driveway is at the bottom of the hill, on the right hand side of the road (.3 miles or about 1/3 mile from the Rappahannock County Line sign). |
