Enjoy a stay in this two story brick house built in 1902, located in the King William Historic District near the Riverwalk and downtown. Featuring spacious verandahs and furnished with period antiques, this inn's tradition of Southern hospitality ensures that guests experience Adams House as their home away from home. Guests can partake in a hearty/Texan gourmet breakfast served in the dining room every morning.If need be, a continental breakfast can also be served to fit guests schedule. Guests are welcome to stroll through the gardens for some fresh air, mingle in the common sitting room, or grab a book from the inn's library and head up to their room for an afternoon of peace and quiet. For a fun day, rent a bicycle and trek around the town to explore the sights.<br><br>
Adams House is equipped with central heat and air conditioning as well as high ceilings and circulating fans in each room. All guest rooms are tastefully appointed in beautiful antiques. Each guest room features color cable television (with HBO), telephone, comfortable bed, and private bath, some rooms even have a two-person Jacuzzi. Additional special features for guests stay include luxurious deep pile velour robes, chocolates by the bed, fresh cut flowers, free soft drinks and fruit juices, and free off-street parking.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals. 231 Adams Street, San Antonio, TX - From San Antonio Airport: Take 281 south which joins I-37. Drive south on I-37 and exit on Durango Street. Turn right and drive to the 2nd traffic light. Turn left onto South Alamo Street. Go to the third traffic light which is at Adams Street. Turn left onto Adams and drive to the end of the second block. The Adams House is on the right at the corner of Adams and Stieren. Free parking is located in the lot behind the inn. |
