<b>Location.</b> The Prince Solms Inn B&B, located in the town of New Braunfels, Texas, is situated just three-quarters of one mile from the Schlitterbahn Waterpark and three blocks from the Comal River. The heart of New Braunfels, approximately one mile from the inn, is marked by Landa Park, which features the Landa Park Golf Course, lake, two swimming pools, picnic areas and a miniature train. Several restaurants and cafes are within walking distance of the Prince Solms Inn B&B.<br><b>Hotel Features.</b> Guests enter the Prince Solms Inn B&B through 10-foot high front entry doors adorned with etched glass. These doors were rescued from a hurricane-stricken hotel in Galveston in the 1920's. The bronze fittings that hold the doors were purchased in Europe. The parlor of the house showcases several pieces of furniture originally brought to the house in 1898, as well as a Stieff piano from 1879. The history of the inn is documented with articles, pictures, and other documents, along with success stories, down the hallway.<br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b> Prince Solms Inn's main building features two luxury suites on the first floor and eight guestrooms on the second floor, all with private baths. All of the suites and guestrooms are furnished with sturdy antiques, exceptional lighting fixtures, and carefully chosen paintings and prints. Guestrooms also include cable television, dial-up Internet access and telephone service.<br><br> <b>Expert Tip.</b> Tubing the Comal River is a very popular activity in the area. In the same neighborhood as the inn are tube rental facilities that will even shuttle guests back from the river right to the Prince Solms Inn.
