Location. Located halfway between Central Park and Times Square, the Sheraton Manhattan Hotel in New York, N.Y., sits within three blocks of Broadway theaters, Rockefeller Center, and Fifth Avenue shopping.
Hotel Features. This hotel features a 50-foot, four-lane indoor lap pool, which opens onto a spacious outdoor deck, and an on-site fitness center. Guests have access to the health club and additional business services of the larger Sheraton New York across the street. The on-site restaurant, Russo's, is open all day, and features a dinner menu of American favorites.
Guestrooms. The Sheraton Manhattan offers 650 traditionally-styled guestrooms. Premium bedding features plush-top mattress dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, plump duvet and feather pillows. The room decor includes red, gold, and beige color schemes, fabric headboards, dark wood armoires, coordinated bedspreads and drapes, and sheer curtains across the wall-to-wall windows. Business amenities include oversized desks with task lighting, high-speed Internet access, and ergonomic swivel chairs.
Expert Tip. Synonymous with "New York-style cheesecake," Lindy's Restaurant is one-half block from the hotel and has been serving its legendary cheesecake and deli sandwiches since 1921. The restaurant was immortalized by writer David Runyon in his series of stories that later became known as Guys and Dolls.
