Location. Positioned on 39 acres of manicured gardens, the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Phoenix, Ariz., offers elegant accommodations to discerning travelers. Less than four miles from Camelback Mountain and nine miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, this resort is convenient for business and leisure travelers.
Hotel Features. Built in 1929 as an "invitation only" retreat, the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa features two championship golf courses, six lighted tennis courts and two pools. One pool is designated for sports and the other, the Paradise Pool, includes three smaller pools with a 92- foot water slide. Misted cabanas are featured on the pool deck. The on-site spa offers 80 treatments, steam rooms and saunas. Chefs at Wright Restaurant prepare contemporary American cuisine in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. The Biltmore Grill and Patio serves American and regional specialties by a large stone fireplace on the patio, surrounded by shady, fragrant orange trees. The Cabana Club is a poolside grill featuring a specialized children's menu, and beverages and light fare for adults. Complimentary shuttle service are offered to the nearby Biltmore Fashion Park, Sun Devil Stadium and Chase Field.
Guestrooms. The 738 guest suites are sophisticated, with wood and leather furnishings and muted colors of ivory, sand and beige. Guest suites feature marble baths with complimentary spa products, cable television with video game consoles, minibars and refrigerators. Guest suites offer either balconies or patios with views of the gardens, pool, golf course or mountains.
Expert Tip. Guests may recognize the cigar-friendly bar, Squaw Peak Bar and Terrace, from the movie "Waiting to Exhale." The landscaped gardens, mountain views and live piano music make this a perfect spot for quiet conversation.
