Combining traditional Creole and colonial style architecture, the Iloha hotel is situated on La Reunion's west coast with beautiful views of Saint-Leu bay, two kilometres from the town centre. There are 14 air- conditioned guestrooms in the main colonial building, and 50 bungalows set throughout the three hectares of tropical gardens. All have simple, light decor in neutral shades with wooden furniture, and include satellite television, Internet access, telephones and bathrooms with hair dryers. The half board room rate includes breakfast and dinner; drinks are not included at dinner.
Guests can spend lazy days relaxing by the pool, and later on relax with a speciality rum cocktail on the panoramic terrace before dining on Creole specialities and traditional French cuisine in the restaurant. Activities offered free of charge include aqua gym, tennis, ping pong, billiards, or guests can even try an initiation dive in the swimming-pool. Within the area there are excursions for paragliding, scuba diving, and helicopter and 4x4 tours (surcharges apply), or guests can borrow masks and snorkels from the hotel and explore the coral and fishes of the lagoon, 400 metres away. Practical amenities include dry cleaning and laundry services, babysitting (on request), and safe-deposit boxes at reception, as well as a souvenir shop. The front desk is open around the clock and there free parking on site. Reunion Saint Denis Airport (RUN) is 60 kilometres (45miles) approximately 60 minutes by car.

Driving Directions
Taxis are available from outside the airport although a car is useful for exploring the island.
From Saint Denis airport head west in the direction of Saint Gilles/Saint Leu. At the entrance of Saint Leu, turn left opposite the Coral Farm, direction 'Les Colimacons' and the hotel is on the right. |
