The Fosshotel Sudurata is a modern hotel situated in Reykjavik's University area, 500 metres from the National Museum and one kilometre from the city centre. The 42 studio-style guestrooms are simply decorated and furnished in a modern style. All guestrooms include kitchenettes with fridges, microwaves, cookware and tables, televisions, and bathrooms with showers.
After enjoying breakfast in the hotel's dining room, guests may like to consider a day's tour round Reykjavik, or perhaps an outing further afield. Driving Directions
A Flybus leaves from outside arrivals 35-45 minutes after each flight arrival, stopping outside the hotel on request. The fare is 1.100 ISK per person. A typical taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is around 6.00-8.00 ISK.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the main road towards Reykjavik city centre. At the large crossroads of Kringlumyarbraut (the main road) and Miklabraut turn left into Miklabraut, drive for 2 kilometres then turn left into Sudurgata. The hotel is 500 metres on the left. |
