Driving Directions
The best way to get to and from the airport is by bus. Taxis are very expensive. Getting around Reykjavik is easiest on the SVR bus system, which runs from 7 AM to midnight daily. Bicycles can be used to negotiate the city's extensive network of cycle paths. Driving directions: From the airport, head towards to Reykjavik and then take Road No 1 towards Akureyri. The hotel is beside Road No 1, 80 kilometres from the capital and approximately 4 kilometres from the town of Borgarnes. |
