A large hotel with a stately façade of white French stone, the Hotel Husa President Park borders a park in the new business and ministries district, just 400 metres from the Gare du Nord. The 297 spacious guestrooms, decorated in light blues or rich red-hued earth tones with matching fabrics, all include hair dryers, satellite television with pay movies and direct-dial telephones. Executive Rooms also include minibars, air conditioning, laptop safes, make-up mirrors, trouser presses and wireless Internet connections.
Located in something of a green oasis, guests are at leisure to enjoy the hotel's private gardens, perhaps with a drink from the Bar President Park, which opens its doors on to a panoramic terrace in the summer months. The Les Jardins St Roch, a large, colonnaded breakfast room decorated in soft greens, also borders the gardens. Later in the day, guests can adjourn to the restaurant Le Grill for some authentic Belgian ambience. Serving international and Belgian specialities in a warm atmosphere created by half timbering on red brick walls, terracotta floor tiles and wooden billets separating the room into private corners, the eponymous grills are housed in a large open chimney breast. Sightseeing options, meanwhile, can be outlined by multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk. The Rue Neuve, a renowned pedestrianised shopping street, is a kilometre away, with Brussels' Cathedral and Grande Place two kilometres from the hotel, and the Musées Royaux des Beaux Arts half a kilometre further. Business travellers are particularly well catered for, with 15 convention rooms equipped with all necessary presentation facilities. The grand Fabiola Ballroom, with its picture windows and view over the gardens, is available for larger assemblies and wedding functions.

Driving Directions
The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 10-30 minutes to Brussels' three main stations. Four trains an hour depart to the Gare du Nord, which is 400 metres from the hotel. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city. A fast, cheap way to get around Brussels is on their extensive tram system.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the ring road until the exchange crossing Brussels (Koekelberg), Ostend-Mons-Bergen. Leave the ring, direction Brussels Koekelberg, exit 10. Take Avenue Charles Quint up to the basilic, and take the long tunnel at exit Saintclette. At the second traffic lights, turn left into Boulevard du Roi Albert. The hotel is past the Gare du Nord. |
