Location. Offering more than the average hotel, the 21-story Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel is located within an 800-acre resort destination known as "Resort-In-the-City." Featuring a theme park, extreme park, shopping mall, medical center and conference facilities, the hotel is situated 30 kilometers from the center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and 45 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Hotel Features. The Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel is home to the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, which boasts one of the world's biggest surf pools, along with countless rides and attractions. The Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall is also nearby, featuring over 307 specialty outlets, a skating rink, 48-lane bowling center and 10-screen cinema. Thrill-seekers can take a short walk to the Sunway Extreme Park, Malaysia's first and only theme park dedicated to motorized sports that offers 150 acres of outdoor activities.
Several dining options exist at the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel, including the Sun & Surf Café, which provides international and local buffet meals, in addition to a la carte cuisine. The hotel is also home to the Avanti Ristorante, featuring Italian and western fare, West Lake Garden, which serves Chinese cuisine, and the Japanese-style Nagisa Restaurant.
The Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel also houses over 10,000 square meters of meeting space, including a ballroom, convention room and 43 meeting rooms.
